GALINA URRUTIA

Galina Urrutia has been a Holistic Massage Therapist since 1999, achieving her national certification in 2004. She is now a Certified Massage Therapist licensed by the State of California, with an office in Albany. She completed most of her training at the School of Healing Arts in San Diego. To deepen into the eastern bodywork, she has also taken classes at the Ohashi Institute in New York and did a Thai Massage training at the Wat Po School of Traditional Thai Massage in Bangkok, Thailand. In addition, Galina has also taken Ayurveda basic classes in India to expand her knowledge in traditional medicine.

The Way We Work

Though each person is different and we customize our massage treatment to each individual, we follow the steps listed below with everyone.

INTAKE FORM

On your first visit you will fill out a form with your personal information. It will provide us with any medical condition we need to be aware of,the reason for your visit, and your goals for the session.
CONDITION OF THE CLIENT

We will talk about the reason you came in for a massage and what your goals and/or intentions are for the session.
TREATMENT

We will customize your massage treatment based on your needs.
DURING YOUR MASSAGE

We can communicate to make sure the procedure is working for you or if we need to change the modality that is being used.
EVALUATION

After the massage we will evaluate the session. At this time, we may make recommendations, for example, encouragement to breathe deeply or suggestions for simple exercises.

Please allow at least 24 hours before your session to reschedule or cancel your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee of 50% of your session..

In-corporate

Cancellation for In-corporate massage requires 48 hours advanced notice to avoid a charge back of the entire contracted massage service fee.
