Course: Learn how to give a good massage to a loved one.
Location: Albany office Duration: 2 hours
Cost: $170 per couple
In my practice, I often get asked if I can teach their partner, child, parents, or friend how to give massages. Because of this frequent question, I have decided to start teaching the basics of this beautiful healing art.
The objective of the course is to learn to massage a loved one gracefully, without harming the person receiving, and without injuring oneself.
The art of massage requires a more profound knowledge of how our body works. By developing a greater understanding of ‘body mechanics,’ people with the gift of a great touch can develop stamina through proper form.
My course will cover common issues affecting legs and arms, feet and hands, upper and lower back, as well as scalp therapy.
Students wishing to develop their massage skills are welcome to take the course more than once.
Due to space constraints, the course will require and be limited to two students. Participants will have the opportunity to observe as well as practice on each other. They will need to wear comfortable loose clothes and socks. A massage table, sheets, and oil are included.
